Elephant Safari in Chaing Mai Thailand

We've been asked to post pictures of the elephant safari in Chaing Mai, Thailand, so here they are.
Marty and Karen pose on their elephant. Karen is wearing a native hill tribe hat that she bought at an elephant trail side stand.
Our traveling friends are enoying thier elephant ride.
And as you see, the elephants also put on a great show for us. One of them even paints pictures!
these are amazing creatures.
what you don't see here is the elephant "massage" that Karen had with an elephant actually patting her back with it's foot !!!!!!!!!!!

What a great experience!

Moscow, Russia

We went on a river cruise with the Cruise People about 6 years ago to Russia. We spent 12 days sailing from Moscow to St. Petersburgh.

It was great being escorted by people who have been all over the world and really know how to handle things.

We loved this cruise. river boats are small. there were only about 200 people on our boat. Every day we stopped in another little town.

You just can't see this type of country side from a sea cruise. We'd recommend this type of cruise to anyone who really wants an indepth cultural experience. The sights, the people were all so welcoming and unexpected.

We took this picture of St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow. Believe it or not, it's only oneof about 400 we took on the trip!

We've traveled with The Cruise People every year now and sometimes twice a year. Can't wait to hear where Karen & Marty have chosen to go next.

We'd love to sail on the Volga from Moscow down to Odessa on the Red Sea. Have you two thought about doing that?

RCI Majesty of the Seas Renovations

What a great job Royal Caribbean did when renovating this ship. The Majesty has always been a great 3 or 4 night quick get away and it's even better now. Take a look at what they've done to her.

This is truly the New Majesty of the Seas complete with new bedding that is so comfortable you don't even want to get up.

They've added a Johnny Rockets, a deli, a pizza parlor, and so much more.

We can't wait to get away for a quick weekend again.

Athens

We've been asked to share some of our favorite pictures from around the world. This is a picture of the Acropolis in Athens, Greece we took over Thanksgiving 2005.

After our small group of clients and friends did a great tour of Greece with Globus Tours we spend 3 days in Athens in the old section of town called the Plaka. A great area with restaurants and shops.

The hotel we stayed in, which was right at the foot of the Acropolis was actually called the Plaka Hotel. this is a small hotel, non-pretentios, with clean modern rooms and reasonable prices.
