Last week,we promised you some pictures of our trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Here are some great pictures we took of the Barcello Bavaro Beach Resort area of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

We had the pleasure of staying at and touring all of the Barcello hotels in their resort of Bavaro Beach.

We were pleasantly surprised at how good the accommodations and ameneties were since this resort is so reasonably priced.

There are 5 hotels within the resort - all connected by a tram that runs every 15 mintes -

Barcello Caribe Beach Resort

Barcello Bavaro Beach Resort

Barcello Golf Resort

Barcello Casino Resort

This is a not to miss area for the beach entusiasts. Miles of powder sand beaches, great shade and water sports in an all inclusive resort with everything from beach to golf to casino.

A tran runs between their five hotels and they offer everything from the moderate to the moderate upscale with exchange rights.

You can stay at the Barcello Palace Resort and enjoy the amenities of all 5 resorts or stay at any of the others an enojoy the amenities off 4 resorts with the exception of the Palace resort.

Overall, we found this a great value for the dollar particularly when other areas of the world are so much more expensive.
